Keystone is an 10.5-month-old aussie/pittie(?) mix looking for an active, loving home to call her own. She's a sweet girl with lots of energy and would thrive with someone who enjoys walks, adventures, outdoor time, and keeping her busy both physically and mentally. Keystone does well with kids and other dogs and has also been around horses, goats, and chickens. She does have a strong prey drive, though, so a home without chickens or other small prey-type animals would be best. When Keystone first meets new people, she can be very shy and cautious. Give her a little patience and time to feel comfortable, and her personality starts to come through. She needs someone willing to let her build trust at her own pace rather than expecting her to be everyone's best friend immediately. She is crate trained and has been potty trained, although our recent move has caused her to have some occasional accidents/tinkling inside while she adjusts. With consistency and a stable routine, she should get back on track. She is also learning her leash manners — walking on leash is still a work in progress because this energetic girl likes to pull and GO! Keystone would do best in a home that understands the energy and intelligence that can come with an Aussie mix. She isn't looking to be a couch potato 24/7 — she needs exercise, enrichment, playtime, training, and ideally a family who wants to include her in their adventures.
