If you're looking for a puppy with a big personality, endless curiosity, and plenty of love to give, Biscuit may be your guy!

Biscuit is an active, adventurous little pup who approaches life at full speed. He can spend hours playing, exploring, and investigating before taking a quick nap and gearing up for his next adventure. He's smart, confident, and always ready to see what exciting thing he can discover next.

His favorite toys are long plush squeaky toys that he can proudly carry around the house, especially ones shaped like snakes. He also loves textured toys, like spiky balls, that he can chase, chew, and toss around. And if you're up for a game of tug-of-war, Bones is always ready to join in!

Biscuit is currently working on his potty training and making steady progress. A regular feeding schedule has helped make his routine more predictable, and with consistency and patience, he's continuing to learn good habits. Like many puppies his age, he'll need a family committed to helping him build on the progress he's already made.

When playtime is over, Biscuit transforms into a champion snuggler. His absolute favorite place to sleep is curled up in someone's lap. If a lap isn't available, you'll find him burrowed deep in a pile of soft blankets, cozy and content.

While Biscuit inherited more of the Heeler look, his personality leans strongly toward the Dachshund side. He has the intelligence of a Heeler and the determination of a Dachshund, making him a clever little problem solver. If he wants something, he'll work hard to figure out how to get it! He's fearless around dogs much bigger than himself and enjoys playing with canine companions of all sizes.

Most of all, Biscuit loves being with his people. Whether he's following you around the house, supervising your daily chores, cuddling in your lap, or finding a little puppy mischief to get into, he wants to be part of the action.

Biscuit is looking for a family ready to embrace his playful energy, sharp mind, and affectionate nature. In return, he'll provide plenty of entertainment, companionship, and love.

If you're interested in one of our dogs or would like help finding the perfect match please submit an application at: https://forgoodrescue.net/dog-adoption/ We will not discuss details regarding any particular dog if you have not yet applied to adopt.
