Sena Catterall A188442 50 lb. spayed female, approx 1 year old -This smooshy girl is a busy little bundle of puppy energy! She's treat motivated, knows how to sit, and takes her snacks nicely. Well... when all four feet are on the ground! She tends to jump up for attention because apparently being adorable from a distance just isn't close enough. -She's an active girl who's always on the move, so getting her to sit still long enough for pets is a bit of a challenge. But when she does pause for a moment, she enjoys the affection! She wasn't interested in toys during our time together, and she pulls a bit on leash, so she'll benefit from some practice with her walking skills and basic puppy manners. -She's got that big, smooshy, lovable puppy charm and plenty of enthusiasm to share! If you're looking for a fun-loving girl with a little extra bounce in her step, she might just be your girl. -Will need some puppy training. Please keep that in mind if you want a puppy. They require time and patience to be the best that they can be! -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids *Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt *Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. *Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. *There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. *To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** *The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30, except for Wednesday when we open at 11:30 **We ask that if you're looking to adopt, you arrive before 5:00 to be able to have enough time to meet the dog. **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
