Agamemnon Agamemnon is a stunning dilute tabby and white male kitten born August 4, 2026. With his beautiful soft gray tabby markings, delicate white accents, and precious little face, this handsome boy is ready to begin the next chapter of his life. And what a wonderful beginning his story has had, thanks to his devoted mother, Calypso! Agamemnon's story actually began before he was born. His mother, Calypso, was taken to an animal control facility while she was pregnant. For a mother cat carrying a litter of vulnerable babies, an animal control facility is a frightening and uncertain place to be. Calypso needed somewhere safe and quiet where she could give birth and care for her kittens without the stress and dangers of a shelter environment. Thankfully, Edgar and Ivy was able to bring Calypso into our care before her babies arrived. On August 4, 2026, surrounded by the safety and comfort of our neonatal nursery, Calypso gave birth to her beautiful kittens, including little Agamemnon. Unlike so many of the orphaned kittens who arrive at our shelter, Agamemnon was fortunate enough to have his mother by his side from the very beginning. Calypso was able to nurse her babies, keep them warm, groom them, and teach them all the important lessons that only a mother cat can provide. And while Calypso cared for her little family, our neonatal team made sure she had everything she needed. Nutritious food, a clean and comfortable environment, medical oversight, and a safe place to raise her babies allowed this little family to enjoy something that should belong to every mother cat and her kittens: peace and security. Agamemnon has spent his entire life surrounded by care. He has never had to struggle to find food, seek shelter from the weather, or face the dangers that so many kittens experience before they are old enough to protect themselves. As he grew, his beautiful dilute tabby and white coat became more striking, transforming him from a tiny newborn into the handsome young kitten he is today. Agamemnon is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for adoption. His mother gave him the very best start she could, and Edgar and Ivy was there to make sure she had the opportunity to do so. Now it is time for Agamemnon to leave the nursery behind and discover the wonderful life that awaits him in a home of his own. Named for a legendary king of ancient Greece, Agamemnon may have a grand and powerful name, but he is still a precious little kitten who deserves all the simple joys of being someone's beloved companion. A warm bed, a safe home, toys to chase, and a family who will love him for the rest of his life. Agamemnon's story began with a mother who needed rescuing. We hope the next chapter begins with a family who sees this beautiful little boy and knows he belongs with them.
