### Milo Milo is a seven-and-a-half-year-old ginger tabby with an enormous body, a sweet heart, and a story that began with a family in crisis. Milo's mom was experiencing domestic violence and had to flee her home with her two young children. Even in the middle of that terrifying situation, she refused to leave Milo behind. She took him with her, but the circumstances she and her children were facing made it impossible for her to continue caring for him. When she reached out to Edgar and Ivy, there wasn't a question about what we would do. Milo came immediately into our care through **Edgar and Ivy Cares**, our program designed to help animals and the people who love them during times of crisis. His mom could concentrate on getting herself and her children somewhere safe knowing that Milo was safe too. Now it's our job to find the next chapter for him. And Milo is quite a lot of cat to love. This enormous ginger boy weighs in at a whopping **20 pounds**.
