Toph is a handsome tabby and white male kitten born July 3, 2026. He is a member of our Last Airbender Litter and one of the precious babies belonging to Raava, a remarkable young mother whose story touched everyone at Edgar and Ivy's Cat Sanctuary. Toph's life began under frightening circumstances. He and his siblings arrived at our shelter inside a carrier with their mother. The entire family had been exposed to marijuana, and the kittens were unconscious from the intoxication. Their mother, Raava, was severely affected as well. She was frightened, aggressive, and so intoxicated that she would not even blink normally. Our team immediately began caring for the little family, knowing that these tiny kittens were especially vulnerable. Thankfully, the following morning brought an incredible transformation. As the effects of the marijuana wore off, Raava became a completely different cat. She jumped up to greet our caregivers, purring happily and showing affection toward the people who were helping her babies. With their mother finally feeling better and the family receiving the care they needed, Toph and his siblings were given the opportunity to grow up in safety. Raava proved to be an extraordinary mother. She lovingly raised her kittens and, after they were weaned, even went on to nurse four additional orphaned babies who desperately needed her. Toph was fortunate to have such a devoted mommy watching over him. Today, the helpless little kitten who arrived unconscious at our shelter has grown into a beautiful young boy who is ready for a family of his own. Toph has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped and is officially available for adoption. We are looking for a loving indoor home where he will always be safe and protected. He deserves toys to play with, soft beds, plenty of affection, and a family who will treasure him throughout his life. Toph's story began with a frightening experience that could have ended tragically. Instead, he was given the chance to grow up surrounded by care and the love of an extraordinary mother. Now this handsome little boy is ready to leave his nursery days behind and begin his next adventure. All Toph needs is someone to give him the wonderful forever home he deserves.
