Kermit is a handsome male tabby kitten born June 22, 2026. With his beautiful striped coat and precious little face, this sweet boy has overcome a very difficult beginning and is finally ready to find the loving family he deserves. Kermit and his sister Miss Piggy were taken to a local animal control facility when they were only five weeks old. Both kittens were incredibly sick, and at such a young age, they were especially vulnerable to the serious illnesses affecting their tiny bodies. When Edgar and Ivy's Cat Sanctuary learned about these two babies, we brought them into our critical care program, where our team immediately began working to save their lives. Their recovery was long and difficult. For an extended period, Kermit and Miss Piggy fought for their lives while our caregivers provided medical treatment, nutritional support, careful monitoring, and the constant attention that critically ill kittens require. There were difficult days when their futures were uncertain. These weren't kittens who simply needed a few days of rest and medication. They were desperately sick babies who required a tremendous amount of time, dedication, and specialized care. But we weren't willing to give up on them. Slowly, Kermit began to improve. His little body grew stronger, his health returned, and eventually he and his sister reached the wonderful milestone we had been working toward for so long. They were finally healthy. Today, Kermit is a beautiful young tabby boy who has left those frightening days behind him. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped and is ready for adoption. We are looking for a loving indoor home where Kermit can enjoy the carefree life every kitten deserves. He should be spending his days playing with toys, exploring his surroundings, curling up in soft beds, and receiving affection from a family who adores him. Kermit and Miss Piggy arrived at Edgar and Ivy as two tiny kittens fighting for survival. Their recovery required weeks of determination and care, but seeing them healthy and ready for adoption makes every difficult day worthwhile. Now Kermit has one final milestone to reach. He needs a family of his very own. After fighting so hard for the chance to grow up, this precious little boy deserves a lifetime of safety, happiness, and love.
