Susie Q is a beautiful tabby and white female kitten born June 10, 2026. She is one of those wonderfully entertaining little personalities who keeps everyone at Edgar and Ivy's Cat Sanctuary laughing! Susie was born outside to a community cat, where her mother had learned that being cautious around humans was essential for survival. Apparently, her mommy passed along some very serious warnings about people, because Susie Q has perfected the art of looking at us like we are the most offensive creatures she has ever encountered! She is the undisputed queen of airplane ears. When you approach her, those little ears flatten sideways, and she gives you a look of complete disapproval. You would think she absolutely despises every human being on the planet. But here's the funny part. Susie Q actually loves attention! Despite her dramatic expressions and suspicious little face, she allows us to pet her, hold her, and give her affection. We find her absolutely hilarious because her facial expressions rarely match how much she enjoys being loved. Underneath that tough little exterior is a kitten who wants affection but is still learning that humans can be trusted. Susie Q needs a special person who understands that trust takes time. She may initially greet her new family with those famous airplane ears and a look that suggests they have personally offended her ancestors. But with patience, gentleness, and consistency, we believe she will continue learning that people can be wonderful. We like to think her mommy taught her to be suspicious because she wanted her babies to survive. Now it's our turn to show Susie that she no longer needs to be afraid. Susie Q has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped and is ready for a loving indoor home. We are looking for someone who will appreciate her quirky personality, respect her boundaries, and allow her to become comfortable at her own pace. She doesn't need someone who expects an instantly confident kitten. She needs someone who can see the sweetness hiding behind those hilariously judgmental expressions. Susie Q may look like she hates everyone, but we know better. This precious little girl has so much love to give. She just needs someone willing to earn her trust and remind her, every single day, that she is finally safe.
