### Turbette Turbette is a beautiful tabby and white female kitten born July 31, 2026. With her precious little face, delicate markings, and bright, curious eyes, it's difficult to imagine that this sweet baby was once trapped inside the engine of a car, crying desperately for someone to save her. Turbette's story began when a man heard something unusual coming from his vehicle. Somewhere deep inside the engine compartment were the faint, frightened cries of a tiny kitten. He soon realized that a helpless baby was trapped inside his car. Getting her out was anything but easy. Turbette was wedged so far into the vehicle that rescuing her required hours of painstaking work. Parts of the car had to be removed as the people helping her worked to reach the frightened little kitten. Imagine how terrifying those hours must have been for such a tiny baby, trapped in a dark, unfamiliar place, unable to escape and completely dependent on strangers to save her life. But those strangers refused to give up. Finally, after hours of effort, Turbette was freed from the engine. Her rescuers contacted Edgar and Ivy's Cat Sanctuary, hoping we could provide the care and safety this little girl desperately needed. Thankfully, we were able to welcome her into our shelter. Since that day, Turbette has been surrounded by the love, protection, and medical care she deserves. Instead of hiding inside a dangerous engine compartment, she has had a safe place to sleep, nutritious food, and people who have watched over her as she grew into the beautiful kitten she is today. Turbette has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and is now ready for adoption. We are looking for a loving indoor home where this precious little girl will never again have to struggle to survive. She deserves soft beds, gentle hands, warm cuddles, and a family who will treasure her for the rest of her life. Turbette's rescue took hours of determination from people who could have walked away but chose not to. Their compassion gave her the chance to grow up, and now she has the opportunity to experience something even more wonderful: a family of her very own. The little kitten who once cried for help from inside a car engine is finally ready to spend the rest of her life somewhere she will always be safe. Home.
