Looking for a walking buddy, a playmate, AND a professional couch cuddler? Meet Echo! Echo is a 2-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix who truly has the best of both worlds. He’s playful and energetic when it’s time for adventure, but when the day winds down, he’s more than happy to curl up beside you for some quality snuggle time. One thing you’ll quickly notice about Echo is just how smart he is! This boy loves to learn and catches on quickly. He knows sit, stay, paw, leave it, and find. He’s even picked up commands simply by observing his foster siblings! Add in being house-trained and patiently waiting for his food, and you’ve got one clever pup. Echo is a social guy who absolutely loves other dogs. He gets along great with his canine foster siblings and would love opportunities to play with other pups. He’s still working on keeping his excitement in check when he sees dogs while out on leash, but he’s eager to learn. Because he’s a mix of two active working breeds, Echo would do best with a family that can give him regular exercise and mental enrichment. He currently enjoys two long walks daily, backyard play sessions, and activities that challenge his mind. With his needs met, he’s wonderfully content at home and can comfortably stay alone while his foster parents are at work. He’s also a total people-lover! Echo is gentle, affectionate, and happy to spend time with just about anyone. We suspect he’d do well with children, though he hasn’t had the opportunity to meet them yet. Echo has so much love to give and is ready to find a family to share all his adventures (and couch cuddles!) with. Could that be you?
