Nikki's owner kept her outside 24/7 for over a year. We took her sister from this lady, who came to us pregnant and gave birth to two puppies. She finally gave up Nikki. We gave her this name because we wouldn't repeat what her name was with this owner. Amazingly she is a bit shy as she gets to know us but treats and food is the way to her heart. After a few days she is coming around. She is sweet. She really needs a home with another younger, playful dog if possible as we found out she loves to play with other dogs. She is of course matted to the bone so getting groomed and a beautiful girl underneath all of those nasty mats and dirt. She is really precious just like her sister, Bella was. Bella was not banished to the outdoors as soon as Nikki was. We hope this owner never gets another dog.
