About Maya

Meet Maya! She’s a delightful four-month-old gray tabby with a charming twist: she’s polydactyl, flaunting adorable oversized paws thanks to her extra toes. With her big personality and an even bigger heart, Maya is sure to walk straight into yours. Affectionate and outgoing, Maya loves being with her people. Expect her to follow you from room to room like a little shadow, craving lap time, sweet kisses, and plenty of attention. It’s hard to resist that face, and this girl knows how to grab the spotlight. Maya did have a serious eye infection earlier in life, but she triumphed over it, keeping her eye! Although it has a slight droop that may improve with time, it doesn’t slow her down one bit. She’s ready to pour all her love into a new family. Maya is FIV/FeLV negative and up-to-date with vaccinations. Kittens thrive best in pairs, so she’d love to be adopted with her sister Bonita or join a household with another friendly, playful kitty. Come meet this little sweetheart during adoption events at the Mechanicsville PetSmart on Saturdays from 11:00 AM–2:30 PM. Ready to add some extra toes and a whole lot of love to your family?
