Meet Dos! The Self-Appointed CEO/ Dos is the biggest of the three brothers, and he'd like you to know that he considers this a management position. His daily responsibilities include wrestling with Uno, confiscating every available bone (sharing is for other people), and serving as the official blanket for the puppy pile. He's a busy boy with a reputation to maintain, and frankly, he takes his job very seriously. But Dos has a secret: Take him away from his brothers, and suddenly the big boss energy disappears. The confident little CEO becomes a tiny pancake of uncertainty, wondering who authorized this whole independent-living situation. Luckily, a little encouragement and some quality attention from his favorite human are usually all it takes to remind him of his greatness. A few cuddles later, and he's back to running the show. Someone has to be in charge, after all! Dos is still learning about the big, wide world, and sometimes it can feel like a lot. He'll benefit from a family who understands that even the biggest personality in a Chihuahua-sized body needs a little reassurance now and then. With patience, gentle encouragement, and lots of love, his confidence will continue to grow. He's also working on potty training and does well with puppy pads. If you've been looking for a pint-sized supervisor who will keep you entertained, steal your heart (and probably your dog's bones), and occasionally require an emergency confidence-boosting cuddle, Dos is ready to interview you for the position of his forever human. Dos is a 2-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $800 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and neuter. Dos is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. He is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772 or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption!
