Pop Up Promo! ACC is over capacity, so I'm currently living in a pop up crate. My adoption fee is waived, and my adoption comes with a $50 Chewy gift card. Meet Jimmy Neutron!Jimmy Neutron was found as a stray, and this young guy is still getting comfortable with all the new sights, sounds, and people around him. He can be a little unsure at first, but he enjoys sniffing around and checking out his surroundings once he starts to relax. Jimmy is looking for a patient person who will give him time to settle in and help him discover that the world can be a pretty wonderful place. My Ideal HomeJimmy would love a calm, quiet home where he can settle in at his own pace. Daily walks, food puzzles, long lasting chews, and fun games will give him healthy ways to explore and keep his mind busy. His ideal person will be patient, gentle, and happy to use positive reinforcement while helping him build confidence one little step at a time. Good with Other Pets?Jimmy's history with other animals is unknown, but he showed no response to other dogs while walking at ACC. Any introductions with resident pets should be slow and thoughtful, giving him plenty of time and space to get comfortable. Good with Kids?Jimmy would do best in a home without children under 13 while he builds confidence and gets more comfortable with new experiences. A quieter home with adults who can respect his boundaries will give him the best chance to settle in and feel safe. Things to KnowJimmy can be sensitive about being handled and may feel nervous when someone reaches to pet him, so it's important to let him approach on his own terms and give him the option to move away. He walks without pulling and is happy to jog along with his handler, though new situations can still feel overwhelming. With patience, gentle encouragement, and plenty of positive reinforcement, Jimmy can begin to feel more secure and let his personality shine. This little guy deserves a home where he can take his time and discover his very own happy ending!
