About Helen

Meet Helen! This lovely 1-year-old brown tabby has a gentle heart and a striking swirl of stripes. While she's still learning to trust people and prefers not to be held just yet, with time and patience, she will truly blossom. Helen may be blind in one eye, but that doesn't hold her back. She navigates her surroundings with ease, enjoying her explorations and curling up in cozy spots. One way to win her over? Wet food. Itโ€™s her favorite treat and opens the door to her trust. Though she has FIV, she can lead a long, fulfilling life. Helen would do best in a home without FIV-negative cats. If youโ€™re searching for a kind and independent companion who just needs a little love and time to thrive, Helen could be the perfect match for you. Visit her at the Animal Protective League, 1001 Taintor Road in Springfield. We're open daily from noon to 5 p.m. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
