Meet Gator! With his beautiful gray coat and handsome features, Gator looks like he could have a little Russian Blue in him! But his sweetest feature is his personality. This adorable boy is incredibly sweet, calm, and easygoing. He loves affection and enjoys being around people. Gator does have a medical condition called Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD), which means he was born with a small hole in his heart. He takes daily medication to help manage his condition, but the good news is that Gator qualifies for our Medical Adoption Program! This means that all of his veterinary care will be covered by Abandoned Pet Rescue for the rest of his life. Because of his heart condition, Gator has a weaker-than-normal immune system, making the shelter environment less than ideal for him. He is looking for a calm, quiet, and loving home with no young children or dogs. He could do well with mellow, friendly cats who won't overwhelm him. Gator is currently looking for either a medical foster or a forever adopter willing to give him the safe, comfortable environment he deserves. Even if you can only foster him temporarily while he waits for his forever family, it would make a world of difference! Gator has so much love to give and deserves a chance to enjoy life outside the shelter. Could you be the special person who gives this sweet boy a chance? To meet gator please fill out an adoption or foster application at Abandonedpetrescue.org!
