Lester is a charming tan Chihuahua, estimated to be around 10 years old. It's hard to believe this gentle little soul ended up homeless, but thankfully he's now safe and sound. He arrived at our care from a Houston-area shelter after having a tumor removed. Fortunately, it didn't affect his potty habits, and he's healthy, heartworm negative, and completely vetted. What makes Lester truly wonderful is his nature. He's incredibly calm, friendly, and sociable, getting along well with dogs, cats, and children. Lester enjoys being carried, sleeps contentedly in dog beds, and behaves beautifully during car rides. He’s also a fantastic houseguest, preferring to be close to his humans rather than isolated. He’ll only bark when he’s crated or alone, but give him the company he craves, and he’s perfectly quiet. Lester may have had a tough past, but he has so much love to give and is ready to be a treasured companion in a new home. This senior dog will surely bring joy to whoever decides to adopt him!
