Lester is a male Chihuahua and Rat Terrier mix, 10 years old. He is small, with a short coat in a lovely tan color. Lester is house trained, altered, and fully vaccinated. He gets along well with children, dogs, and cats, making him a great companion for families.

About Lester

Lester is a charming tan Chihuahua, about 10 years old, and it's a mystery how this sweet gentleman found himself homeless. Arriving from a Houston shelter where he was at risk due to a tumor on his prepuce, he has since had it removed and is now fully vetted, heartworm negative, and ready to find his forever home. What makes Lester special is his calm and gentle demeanor. He gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and children, and he loves to be carried around. He happily snoozes in dog beds and rides well in the car. When allowed to roam free, he is a model houseguest; his only bark comes when he feels isolated. He would much prefer to be close to his people. Although we may not know his past, it's clear he was once cherished, and he has plenty of love to offer. Whoever adopts this delightful senior dog will truly hit the jackpot! Lester is currently fostered in Bryan, TX, and can be transported nationwide for $250.
