About Jelly
Meet Jelly—a delightful mix of Australian Shepherd and Dachshund, and a bundle of love at about 7 months old and weighing 20 pounds. Jelly enjoys playtime with toys and wrestling with his foster sister, and he’s a pro at returning snuggles and kisses. Loud noises can startle him, so he appreciates gentle reassurance to feel safe. This little guy does remarkably well with dogs and cats, and he’s friendly with both men and women. He’s great on car rides and behaves well at the vet. Though he’s affectionate and playful, Jelly is still working through some house-training challenges and experiences anxiety with crating and separation. He needs a patient adopter who can provide a consistent routine and gentle guidance. While he wears a belly wrap comfortably, he is not house-trained yet. He’s also learning leash walking and what’s appropriate to chew, so having a chew toy handy will be helpful. On a positive note, he has mastered the stairs, which is one accomplishment off his checklist. Jelly has so much love to share. He requires support through his challenges and deserves someone who will celebrate his progress. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
