About Trixie

Meet Trixie, a charming three-year-old Domestic Short Hair currently fostered in Houston, TX. Trixie was found as a stray, and fortunately, her rescuer reached out for help to find her a loving home. Now, she is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for her forever home. Trixie is about 12 pounds of pure affection. She's very loving and loyal to humans of all ages, although she'd prefer to be the only pet in the household. Her past experiences on the streets have made her cautious around other animals, but she absolutely thrives on human companionship. Litter box trained and calm, Trixie enjoys her time resting and soaking up scratches, especially on a good cardboard scratch post. She might not have figured out toys just yet, but her passion for cuddles is unbeatable. Trixie is looking for a dedicated human to be her one and only. If you're ready to give Trixie the home she deserves, please fill out our adoption application, and a volunteer will arrange a virtual meet & greet!
