About Dirtbag
Meet Dirtbag! Yes, you read that right. His name is Dirtbag, but we promise this boy is anything but! A few years ago, he showed up on someone's front porch in heartbreaking condition. Severely underweight, covered in fleas and ticks, and desperate for help, this sweet cat turned his life around with the love and care he received. Dirtbag has one of the loudest purrs you'll encounter, and he's not shy about asking for affection. He loves to cuddle and will happily curl up in bed with his favorite person at night. Roll around in the grass and dirt? Oh yes! Dirtbag enjoys exploring the great outdoors and then coming inside for some well-deserved snuggles. He had his own microchip-activated cat door before life changed when a dog joined the family. His new canine stepbrother has a strong prey drive, which makes it unsafe for them to coexist. Dirtbag's family is heartbroken to find a new home for him, as he is so incredibly loved. He needs a home without dogs—especially those with high prey drives. A family that understands his adventurous spirit and can offer him a secure outdoor space would be ideal. He’s adaptable when it comes to litter boxes, having adjusted well to his new surroundings. Just one little request: please skip the belly rubs! Dirtbag can even bring along his beloved cat tree and toys to make his transition smoother. He went from a starving stray to someone's world, and now he’s looking for a fresh start. Whoever brings this affectionate boy into their life will be incredibly lucky, as he has so much love to offer. Could you be Dirtbag's next happily ever after? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
