About Carolina Gold
Meet Carolina Gold! This lovely 4-year-old Bluetick Coonhound arrived at the rescue with her adorable litter of puppies, all of whom have since found homes. Now sweet Carolina is still waiting for hers. She did come to us with a harmless mass on her neck and an old hip injury that causes a slight limp, but it doesnβt stop her from enjoying life. Carolina has an independent spirit typical of a hound, loving to wander and explore. She's affectionate when she chooses to be and enjoys leisurely strolls. House trained and smart, she walks well on a leash, though she can be a little shy around men and would benefit from extra training to build her confidence. Carolina Gold is a dream for hound lovers, and sheβs ready to meet her forever family. We promised Carolina Gold that the rest of her life would be the best of her life. Could that be with you?
