About Appleton

Meet Appleton! This friendly guy arrived at the Dog Pound alongside his buddy Trixie after losing his owner. At 8 years old and just under 20 lbs, Appleton tends to be a laid-back fellow who enjoys being involved in household activities. He follows his humans and other dogs around, eager to be part of what’s going on. His enthusiasm shines through when greeting people with barks, and he appreciates some affectionate pets in return. Meal times are a highlight for him, alongside cozy naps in comfy spots. Appleton is well-behaved, potty trained outdoors, and doesn't use potty pads. He adjusts well in the car and loves to walk with other dogs, without reacting negatively to fence barkers or cats. Recently, he participated in a nearly 2-mile walk, proving that age is just a number. He has passed his cat and kid tests and thrives in a social setting, so he’s looking for a home with a dog buddy to keep him company. Appleton is currently in foster care, so please reach out to set up a meeting with him.
