About Brun

Meet Brun! This handsome gray boy is among the sweetest kittens you could know. Friendly and confident, he's completely at ease around people. At just 12 weeks old, Brun has an abundance of playful energy and is always looking for his next adventure. With his lovely gray coat, he's packed full of affection! Brun comes from an extraordinary family. His mother, Ayla, and her ten kittens were inspired by characters from the beloved book 'The Clan of the Cave Bear'. Ayla is a strong and resilient figure in that story, reflecting her real-life struggles and triumphs after spending over a year living outdoors, helped by kind neighbors who provided food. She had her first litter and subsequently became pregnant again when her babies were just three weeks old. Thankfully, just two days before giving birth to TEN kittens, Ayla was brought into foster care. To help her, her foster family supplemented the kittens with kitten milk replacer, which meant they were pampered, cuddled, and loved from the start. This has made Brun and his siblings exceptionally social and comfortable with humans. Here’s a fun tidbit: Brun and his brother Grod are identical! Even their foster family has trouble telling them apart, so they've resorted to using Velcro collars—Brun wears white, while Grod sports yellow. Having grown up in a bustling household, Brun is very comfortable around other cats and would love to have one of his siblings or another playful kitty as a companion. He’s ready for a life filled with playtime, cozy naps, and lots of love. If you're looking for a sweet, social little furball who comes with a dash of kitten mischief, Brun could be the perfect match for you!
