About Chicklet

Meet Chicklet, the Biggest Little Baby! Don’t be fooled by his name—this Chihuahua may be the smallest of his breed, but he has the biggest heart. Chicklet arrived at H.A.L.O. with two friends after his owner decided it was time for a safer life indoors. While his buddies tested positive for heartworms, Chicklet stands out as heartworm negative, ready for a fresh start. He’s a sweet and reserved guy, taking his time to warm up to new people. But once he trusts you, he reveals his loving personality. Chicklet enjoys gnawing on treats and bones, and he’s house trained. He’s previously lived with other small dogs and has shown good social skills with them, even doing well with cats, which makes him a perfect fit for a multi-pet household. Given his shy nature, a quiet home without young children is ideal—preferably with kids over 12 who can respect his need for space. Chicklet is looking for someone to show him what it means to be a cherished companion. He’s ready to swap the outdoors for a cozy couch and the love of a caring owner.
