About Jay

Meet Jay! Jay is a playful 4-month-old Coonhound mix weighing in at 32 pounds, lively and full of personality. He acts like he’s a lap dog, sharing lots of cuddles and kisses with anyone who’ll have him. His love for fun is infectious; he enjoys roughhousing with dogs, getting along with cats, and even has a soft spot for caged birds. A fan of balls and tug-of-war, Jay brings joy wherever he goes, although returning toys is still a work in progress! Jay is curious and might mistake socks for toys, so puppy-proofing your home is essential. He's friendly and sociable, showering affection on both kids and adults. He's crate trained and housebroken with regular outdoor access. Jay walks nicely on a leash and loves exploring. Although he isn't formally trained yet, he knows how to sit and is eager to learn. A fenced yard would be ideal for him to safely play and burn off some energy. Jay is vaccinated, heartworm negative, and more than ready to find his forever home.
