About Jack

Meet Jack, a gentle soul with a playful heart! He’s a black-and-tan mixed-breed boy with soulful brown eyes and floppy ears, just waiting to win you over. Jack’s story began when he and a friend wandered onto a woman's property in Oklahoma. Thankfully, he found a loving caretaker who helped guide him towards a forever home. Jack adores dog friends and has gotten along with every dog he’s met. He loves to engage in play, often flopping onto his back to show his belly, a clear sign of his gentle nature. Despite his playful spirit, he also knows how to relax, happily curling up on a soft bed after a day of fun. This sweet dog is a little shy around new people but warms up as he settles in. His calm demeanor means he’s spent nights indoors without any potty accidents, making him a great housemate. Jack has been around cats but might chase when he thinks it's playtime, so introductions should be supervised. He’d thrive in a home with another friendly dog to boost his confidence and would suit a family that appreciates a dog who isn’t always seeking the spotlight but enjoys companionship and cozy times together. He’s neutered, approximately 1 year old, and weighs about 40 lbs. Jack is currently in a foster home in Dyer, IN. Let’s help this sweet boy find the family he’s been waiting for!
