About Missy

Meet Missy! Missy is an energetic 9-month-old Australian Cattle Dog/Great Pyrenees mix who weighs around 45-50 pounds. She's an adventurous girl who enjoys long walks, hikes, and playing with her favorite stuffed animal while exploring the world. Though she can be shy with new people and may bark when nervous, once Missy feels comfortable, she blossoms into an affectionate companion who loves cuddling. She's treat-motivated and knows some commands like sit, down, and paw. With her high energy, Missy needs a family ready to continue her training, especially regarding manners and leash skills. She thrives on daily engagement, requiring at least two walks, playtime, and mental stimulation. Missy gets along well with other dogs, although her excitement during play can lead to nipping. Ideally, she'd enjoy the company of a friendly canine sibling. While she's great with older children (6+), younger ones may make her anxious. Cats are currently an unknown for her. Her perfect home would be an active family with a fenced yard who loves adventures. Missy isn't comfortable in a crate and can chew when left alone too long, so she’ll need a patient family to help her thrive. With love and continued training, Missy will be a wonderful companion and adventure buddy. Your new best friend is just one click away.
