About Peaches
Meet Peaches, a tender soul who delights in the company of other animals. She started her journey on the streets, which taught her caution and self-protection. However, after spending the past three months in foster care, Peaches has begun to understand the meaning of safety and love. Every day reveals new milestones for Peaches. While she still may dart away when startled, she recently let her foster mom pick her up for the first time, marking a huge step in her trust-building journey. This gray-and-white beauty is slightly shy around new humans but shines when interacting with her fellow furry companions. Whether big, small, noisy, or quiet, Peaches gets along beautifully with dogs and cats, making her an excellent candidate for a home with a confident pet to show her the ropes. Peaches needs a forever family with plenty of patience and understanding. She thrives best in an environment that respects her need for gradual socialization. Once she feels secure, youโll find a soft and curious companion emerging from within. While not strictly necessary, having a friendly resident pet can help her blossom even faster. Health-wise, sheโs doing great, officially crossing the 2-pound threshold and ready for adoption through our Foster-to-Adopt program, which allows for bonding time while awaiting her spay surgery and vaccination appointments. If you have room in your heart and home for this little girl, Peaches is eager to find her perfect match in Sherman, TX. Give their safety and trust a chance. Apply to adopt!
