About Toby

Meet Toby! This little Yorkie is overflowing with personality. At just under a year old, Toby is the happiest and most playful little guy you’ll meet. He absolutely loves playing with other dogs and is always ready for a game, particularly enjoying running through the grass and chasing leaves. While he carries his favorite stuffed toy everywhere, his version of fetch includes an amusing twist—the bringing it back part is negotiable! Although Toby is playful, he also enjoys his cuddle time. Initially, he stuck to his foster mom like Velcro, but he's gaining confidence and now explores the house and snuggles up on the sofa with his doggie friends. He’s still mastering the leash; when he’s done walking, he simply sits down with no further debate. Toby’s friendly disposition extends to everyone—he hasn’t met a person or dog he doesn’t like. He adores neighborhood dogs, adults, and children alike. In fact, he has a special bond with his foster mom’s neighbor in her 70s and makes a point to visit her whenever he can. We’re looking for a fun-loving home for Toby that has another playful dog and a fenced yard for him to run in. Ideally, his new family should spend more time at home, as this little guy is young, affectionate, and full of adventure. Adopting Toby means gaining a devoted best friend and an abundance of entertainment! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
