About Alexander
Meet Alexander! This charming 4-year-old Maltese came to us when his owner could no longer care for him. Alexander is a friendly and affectionate boy who lights up the room with his personality. He adores people and has a special way of making everyone feel loved. His dog friends enjoy his company, too, as he gets along well with them and greets everyone joyfully on walks. However, he is not suited for homes with children under 12, as he does not do well with younger kids. With a nice balance of energy and companionship, Alexander loves walks and playtime in the yard, but heβs just as content to curl up at his foster momβs feet. His favorite thing might just be gazing at her while she works. Alexander is getting comfortable being on his own, happily going into his crate with a treat, and he can stay home for over three hours. While he may bark occasionally when left alone, he has been improving and learns quickly with gentle guidance. Heβs making strides in potty training, benefiting from regular outdoor trips and a consistent routine. More than anything, Alexander is a loving companion who thrives on affection, consistency, and some patience. He has made wonderful progress in foster care and is ready for a home that offers him the stability he needs. Alexander is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, with a dental cleaning scheduled for September. Heβs eager to become part of a loving family. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and letβs get started.
