About Toto

Meet Toto, the adorable Cairn Terrier who's as sweet as he is complex. With that charming face, it’s easy to see why many would instantly fall for him. But Toto isn’t just about cuteness—he needs a special kind of home that understands his unique requirements. Toto is loving and energetic, showing his affectionate side to those he trusts. However, establishing that trust requires time, patience, and careful interaction. He's protective of his person and can react strongly on leash, making it essential to manage his encounters with other dogs and people thoughtfully. In one-on-one situations with other dogs, he shows a much more relaxed demeanor, so the right introductions could lead to positive relationships. Living with Toto means you will need to be vigilant. Understanding his triggers will help in creating a safe environment for him and your guests. He requires an experienced adopter who can recognize the balance between setting boundaries and nurturing trust. If you have experience with protective, reactive dogs and the commitment to work through challenges, Toto could be a rewarding companion. His journey toward trust is where you’ll discover his true magic. Think you have what it takes? Apply today!
