About Smiley
Meet Smiley. Smiley is a 2.5-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a sweet disposition that gives insight into her resilience. For the first two years of her life, she survived on the streets with her five siblings. After a close call when neighbors threatened harm, we brought them to safety. Shortly thereafter, we learned Smiley was pregnant. She tenderly raised her puppies, and now, all of them have found their forever homes. Now, it’s finally her turn. Smiley is one of the gentlest souls you'll ever meet. She adores belly rubs, stuffed toys, and tasty treats, followed by long naps on the couch after enjoying time outdoors. With a medium energy level, she balances her love for relaxation and her desire to explore. Due to her past, Smiley can be a bit timid and requires time to trust, especially around men. She's not aggressive by any means; when nervous, she prefers to walk away. Once she knows she’s safe, her affectionate nature flourishes, and she builds strong bonds with her loved ones. You'll love Smiley for lots of reasons: she’s super sweet and affectionate, enjoys outdoor adventures, gets along well with dogs of all sizes, is potty trained, and knows how to behave on a leash. She has been wonderful around children who understand that she needs time to warm up. Although untested with cats, Smiley's gentle nature suggests she could do well. Those who know Smiley believe she embodies the best qualities in a dog: gentleness, kindness, gratitude, and loyalty. While she doesn’t rush to greet everyone, she quietly observes and learns to trust, ultimately giving her heart fully to those who love her. If you give Smiley the chance she deserves, you’ll gain a loyal companion who will enrich your life immensely. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
