Meet Astrid! This sweet little lady is searching for a home where she can learn that the world isn't so scary and that she doesn't always have to be on guard. She's an absolute sweetheart with people, loving and friendly, and just wants to soak up all the affection she can get. However, other dogs are a bit intimidating for her at this stage. We're unsure if she’s had negative experiences or if she simply hasn’t socialized much, but she’s already making progress. Right now, Astrid shares space with well-mannered adult dogs and is learning that being defensive isn't necessary. She’s doing well, and with time, patience, and positive experiences, she will eventually relax and maybe even discover the joy of having dog friends. Astrid is a smart girl, eager to learn, with so much potential ahead. While we may never know her past, we are determined to help her find a future filled with love, safety, and happiness.
