Meet Ursula! This 125-pound gentle giant is all love, personality, and has zero concept of personal space. At five years old, she’s a professional people lover and a backyard zoomie enthusiast. Ursula was once a cherished family pet, enjoying the warmth of a home, surrounded by children and other dogs. Sadly, everything changed when her family got a French Bulldog, and Ursula found herself relegated to the backyard for two long years. During that time, she weathered the harsh Texas summers and cold winters, never understanding why her life had flipped upside down. Thankfully, her story took a turn when we stepped in, making sure she received necessary veterinary care, including heartworm treatment, spaying, and vaccinations. Now, Ursula is ready for a fresh start in a family that will always cherish her. Despite her size, she genuinely believes she’s a lap puppy and gives enthusiastic affection to everyone she meets. While she enjoys playing with dogs and has previously lived with young children, her ideal home would include children over 12 to keep things safe. Ursula is house trained and loves treats, but she needs an experienced adopter who understands giant breeds. She’s currently working on her leash manners and requires a heavy-duty XL kennel. She is looking for a confident family that will provide her with a large, securely fenced yard, loads of love, and the commitment she deserves. Ursula has so much love to give, and she’s ready to find her forever home. After two years of being forgotten outside, she deserves a family who will welcome her inside, treating her as a vital part of their lives.
