Sweet Brandy and her three siblings and her darling mom Dabs were left abandoned in a run down neighborhood. The mother was trying to protect her four puppies. There was an incident of some mean neighbors trying to hurt the puppies. A good Samaritan enlisted Liz and they went about setting traps and finally rescued the mom and her four babies. They have come to live a wonderful life at Liz’s. Liz said she rarely gets a litter of puppies and a mom in that have such sweet dispositions, despite what they’ve gone through. The mom Dabs appears to be a black lab mix. We think the father is a Catahoula mix by some of the puppies. Brandy definitely resembles the lab mom. These puppies and mom have had the good fortune of being fostered by an acquaintance of Liz. Liz notes that the foster mom said if she didn’t have as many dogs as she did, she would literally have kept Brandy. Brandy is uniquely, sweet and lovely. Pictures do not do her justice.
