About Honey

Honey is a lovely Shepherd/Lab mix who has faced tough times in her young life. At just one year old and around 45 lbs, she carries a sad story; abandoned as a puppy at the Lancaster Shelter, she eventually found herself back there as an owner surrender. Thankfully, she was rescued and is now in the care of a dedicated trainer who is helping her gain confidence. Though Honey can be a bit shy, she is incredibly smart and affectionate once she learns to trust her new friends. This sweet girl thrives in a supportive environment and would do best in an adult-only home with another friendly dog who can be her buddy. She enjoys the outdoors and would love a secure backyard to romp in. Honey is spayed, vaccinated, and house trained, making her an excellent addition to the right family. If you think you could provide her with the forever home she deserves, Honey is waiting for you. Your new best friend is just one click away.
