About Boots
Meet Boots! If you’re on the hunt for a pocket-sized buddy with a big heart, Boots is your guy! This charming 9-month-old Dachshund mix weighs in at 18 pounds and made quite the journey from Salinas, Puerto Rico. He’s currently at Zani's Furry Friends River Sanctuary, eager to meet a loving family. Boots has an inspiring rescue backstory. He was found as a tiny 4-month-old puppy alongside his brave mom, Honey. Thanks to his dedicated rescuers, he has spent his early months embracing life and has turned into a fun-loving, high-energy pup who enjoys daily walks and playtime. Social and friendly, Boots gets along beautifully with dogs of all kinds. He has shared his time with a lively Pittie and a majestic German Shepherd. Boots is already neutered, fully vaccinated, and has passed all health checks—he's all set for his forever home. He adores giving puppy kisses and is ready to be welcomed into a loving family. Because he thrives on interaction, Boots does best in homes with other dogs or daily playdates to keep him happy and social. All dogs are located in the NY/NJ area but could be adopted out of state for the right match. If you can't adopt, consider fostering or volunteering. Click apply to start the adoption process.
