About Bambi

Meet Bambi, a delicate little darling with a name that couldn't suit her more perfectly. At 3 years old, this Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua mix has the sweetest face and a gentle soul, still learning how to be brave. Bambi entered our care as a stray after being brought into a local animal control facility. Her past is a mystery, but it's clear that she's had experiences that made her cautious of the world. Right now, she's trying to navigate her way through feelings of fear and uncertainty. Bambi is nervous around new people and situations, often feeling overwhelmed in unfamiliar environments. Building trust takes time, and she needs a patient adopter who understands that this timid girl is learning that kindness exists in the world. Once she does trust you, you'll find she's quite the homebody, preferring to lounge with her favorite humans rather than venture outside. A professional couch potato, she loves soaking up the sun and enjoying peaceful moments. She gets along well with cats and smaller dogs but finds larger dogs intimidating. This gentle girl thrives best with calm animal companions who can respect her space. Bambi won't rush into your arms; instead, she needs a person who will slow down and appreciate each small step in their journey together. She’s looking for a loving home that understands the importance of patience and kindness. Bambi deserves a peaceful place to land, filled with love and sunshine, where she can blossom into her true self. She's currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport within the continental United States, except for Massachusetts. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
