Rescued along with her brother from life on the streets, she’s watched as he found his forever family, while she remains behind, longing for affection and stability. Living in a veterinary clinic since March, Nala deserves a home where she can thrive, free to explore a yard and curl up on a couch after a day of play. This sweet girl is enthusiastic and eager to bond, ready to offer love and companionship to an understanding family. Nala does well with other dogs, which could make her a great addition to a home with a furry friend. However, she has shown a desire to chase cats, so a cat-free environment is best suited for her. While Nala has done well with house training in her current home, her habits in a typical household setting are still being evaluated. She’s lived with children, bringing kindness and affection into their lives. After more than half a year waiting for her forever home, Nala is ready for a new beginning. She needs someone patient who can help her learn and grow, showing her what it means to belong. She's in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and can be transported to various locations within the continental United States.
