Meet Lando The Lovebug, a young Lab and Great Dane mix with a heart full of affection and a playful spirit. At just 1.5 years old, he’s come a long way from the day he was abandoned at a bus stop, tied up and left alone. Despite that heartbreak, Lando still believes in love and is able to shine as a happy, healthy companion. With a goofy personality, Lando enjoys nothing more than fetching his favorite orange ball, exploring the world around him, and snuggling up with his humans when playtime is over. He's housebroken, crate trained, and knows a good number of commands like sit, down, and stay. He’s also very treat-motivated, making him a great candidate for further training. Lando thrives in an active home where he has room to stretch his legs and a family willing to build his confidence further. He would prefer to be the only dog, or live with an equally-sized companion, and he’s best suited to a household without small animals. While Lando gets along well with older, dog-savvy children, he needs someone who understands his journey and will provide a stable, caring environment.
