About Kodiak
Meet Kodiak, a stunning blue-eyed Siberian Husky looking for his forever home. This approximately 5-year-old boy weighs around 50 lbs and is playful yet gentle, balancing cuddles and the famous husky zoomies with ease. Kodiak has a heartbreaking story. His previous family moved and abandoned him and his brother, leaving them behind to fend for themselves. After months of waiting for their return, they were rescued just in time from an uncertain fate at a shelter. Kodiak has now spent 2.5 months in loving foster care, and heโs ready to find a family who will cherish him forever. Heโs house-trained, crate-trained, and great with cats, dogs, and children. Kodiak adores other dogs and would thrive with a canine buddy but would be equally happy as your only pet, given opportunities for socialization. Heโs an excellent road-trip companion, loves car rides, and turns into a certified lap dog, believing he's smaller than he actually is. Coat and appearance-wise, Kodiak is a showstopper with a mix of black, white, and cream tones highlighted by reddish-brown accents. His striking blue eyes are complimented by a gorgeous black eyeliner, making him impossible to miss. Kodiak deserves a home filled with love and affection, where he can be part of the family. He may be in the early stages of arthritis, requiring periodic pain-relief injections. His future family should be ready to give him ongoing care and attention. Heโs been let down once already, and now is the time for him to feel safe and loved. Could you be the one Kodiak has been waiting for? Letโs make sure he gets the forever family he deserves!
