About Riggs

Meet Riggs, a charming 3-year-old Shih Tzu who is just beginning to explore the joys of life outside a kennel. This adorable little gentleman, also known as RIGSBY by his foster family, is making wonderful strides as he discovers the pleasures of being a beloved pet. Toys, leash walks, and house manners are all part of his new adventures, and he's learning with each passing day. Riggs thrives with the help of his canine buddies, who offer him the guidance he needs. Just two days into his foster home, he was already gaining confidence by happily following along on walks. A friendly, confident dog in his forever home could further boost his self-esteem. Riggs also gets along well with cats and loves to cuddle, but he can be a little skittish if approached too quickly. With patience and a gentle touch, he'll blossom even more and let his sweet personality shine. He’s fully neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and currently learning the routines of home life. He settles into his crate nicely at night and is making great progress. Riggs doesn’t require a perfect household; just a loving one where he can feel safe and cared for. If you think you could be the one to show him how wonderful forever can be, don’t hesitate to reach out. He has so much love to give, and his happily-ever-after is waiting for you.
