About Piglet
Meet Piglet, a lively and affectionate dog currently in foster care in Spring, TX. Piglet was found as a stray and taken in by a caring family who helped her get the vet care she needed. She's fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and ready to find her forever home. At approximately 1 year old and weighing 55 pounds, she's a mix between a Pit Bull Terrier and an American Staffordshire Terrier. Piglet is friendly with dogs, living harmoniously with her foster sibling and showing great excitement during their introductions. She has a moderate to high energy level, enjoying both playtime and recuperating naps. While not yet tested with cats, she does like to chase frogs outdoors, so supervision is advisable. She hasn't lived directly with children but has shown her sweet nature towards neighborhood kids. We recommend a home with children aged 8 and up, considering her playful energy. Piglet is housetrained and signals when she needs to go outside. Sheβs crate trained as well, napping contentedly while her foster family is away. Piglet loves to share with the other dog, displaying no resource guarding tendencies. She's eager to learn and enjoys her walks, although she tends to pull. Positive reinforcement has worked wonders, and sheβs making progress in her training with leash manners. This goofy girl thrives on involvement and affection, craving a family that will continue her training and offer her plenty of love. If you're looking for a playful companion full of personality, Piglet could be the perfect match! Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
