Rescued from the Palmdale Shelter by GreenDog Foundation, he was initially labeled “Rescue Only” due to sensitivities around his neck, but he walks beautifully on a slip lead. Since entering foster care, Farmer has thrived thanks to the time, patience, and understanding he received. This sweet boy has become a calm and affectionate companion who enjoys pets and belly rubs, but he prefers to receive love on his own terms. He has also done well around his foster family’s older child, who respects his personal space. Farmer would thrive in a peaceful home with an experienced owner who understands canine body language and respects boundaries. A quiet environment without constant activity is ideal for him. While he excels in an adult home, he can also adapt to environments with older, dog-savvy children.
