Horton
AvailableHorton is a 4-month-old male Domestic Short Hair kitten located in Talent, OR. This small orange and white kitty has a friendly disposition and is already neutered and vaccinated. Heโs looking for a loving home where he can have a buddy, preferably another cat, to keep him company.
About Horton
Meet Horton. If you settle down anywhere near him, expect to be there for a while. This little orange tabby will find your lap, circle around, and then snuggle in for a nap like heโs been waiting all day for your company. At about 4 months old, Horton is one of the sweetest kittens you'll meet. He loves people and prefers to be right next to you, ideally leaning against your leg. When playtime arrives, he's all kitten energy, but his favorite pastime is curling up beside his human and just relaxing. For his age, he's a remarkably calm fellow. Horton gets along well with other cats and has also mingled with dogs in his foster home. Horton tends to feel lonely when his people are away, so he would thrive in a home with another cat to keep him company while you're at work. If you have a friendly cat who needs a nap buddy, Horton would fit right in. Although Horton is a delightful companion, he does have some medical needs. He was born with a chest condition called pectus excavatum. His care team is still determining what long-term care he will require, so we are only scheduling meet-and-greets with serious adopters. We will discuss his complete medical history upfront to ensure his future family is well-informed. All cats from RCCR come vaccinated, microchipped, sterilized, and dewormed. We recommend adopting kittens in pairs since they thrive best with companionship. Interested in Horton? The adoption fee is $125 for one kitten, or you can adopt a pair for $200. The volunteer team reviews each application, so please be patient while waiting for a response. Thank you for considering Horton.
