Meet Sally Jo! This lovely 30-pound female Border Collie mix is looking for her forever home. She’s currently in Tennessee but will be ready to travel to Massachusetts in December or January after completing treatment for heartworm. Once medically cleared, she will shine in any family setting. Sally Jo is affectionate and playful, with a moderate to high energy level. She enjoys people, walks, and especially loves playing with other dogs. Though she has spent some time living in an outdoor pen, she’s eager to adapt and be part of a family again. While we don’t know how she interacts with children or cats, she has shown herself to be dog-friendly. Keep in mind that her training for house and crate skills will need to be established upon adoption. Sally Jo’s heartworm treatment is generously sponsored, allowing her to focus on recovery during the cooler months. She would thrive in an active home where she’s included in daily life.
