Ghost is not yet house trained and needs a quiet routine, especially during mealtimes.

About Ghost

Meet Ghost! Ghost is a shy and gentle neutered male Great Dane, about 1 to 2 years old and weighing around 60 pounds. After being part of a large hoarding case, heโ€™s now searching for a patient person who can help him learn about home life. Ghost is still figuring out trust, having spent time as a semi-feral. Underneath his nerves, youโ€™ll find a sweet and loving dog. On a leash, Ghost shines as he stays close and walks beautifully. He doesnโ€™t appear bothered by other animals and is naturally gentle. However, without a leash and a specific task, he can be unsure about how to simply be a dog. His foster home reported that he guards his food, so a quiet routine at mealtimes is essential. The ideal home for Ghost would be with a calm and experienced adopter who understands the needs of a fearful dog and is ready to proceed at his pace. A confident, easygoing resident dog would be beneficial for him, and access to a fenced yard would be a plus. If you've previously cared for a shy dog, Ghost is waiting for you. Ready to meet him? Apply today! Transport is an additional $185.
