About Pongo VA

Pongo VA knows how to enjoy the good life, whether it's taking a leisurely stroll or simply hanging out in a fenced yard, soaking in the sights. At five years old, this laid-back, spotty-eared terrier mix loves being a part of your daily routine, often following you from room to room just to see what you're up to. After a tough start, losing a leg due to an injury, Pongo embraces life with a spirit that shines brightly. Weighing around 35 pounds, he needs a caring owner to help him maintain a healthy weight and ensure he gets proper exercise, keeping him active for years to come. Pongo shares his foster home with other dogs but doesn’t rely on them for companionship. He enjoys being around other pets and would fit well in a home with a furry friend, though he can also be your one and only. He comfortably occupies his time alone, making him suitable for working households—especially if they have a secure yard where he can enjoy his favorite activities. If you’re looking for a rescue dog with the gentle nature of an adult and a knack for adapting to family life, consider adopting Pongo. He’s eager for a loving home where he can remain healthy and share life’s simple pleasures with you. Pongo is available for transport to Northern Virginia and surrounding areas, making it easy for you to bring home this lovable companion. Think you’re the right match?
