Meet Moose, an 8-month-old Border Collie and German Shepherd mix who recently arrived in Southport, Connecticut. Weighing in at 30.2 lbs, Moose came from a litter of five stray puppies at risk of euthanasia in Port Lavaca, Texas. Thanks to 4 Little Paws Rescue, he’s now neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for a forever home. Moose is a sweetheart and may be a bit shy at first, but he warms up quickly in a safe environment. He enjoys squeaky toys, lick mats with peanut butter, and playing with both larger and smaller dogs. Affectionate and responsive, he loves getting gentle pets and is already doing great with housebreaking. Moose is a smart boy who’s eager to please, with no issues taking treats gently from your hand. He does well with both children and dogs, making him a fantastic addition to any family.
